Founded in 2010, working from a spare bedroom, Mel’s was established in response to widespread dissatisfaction with the service provided by large high street retailers. We recognised a clear need for a more reliable, personalised, and affordable alternative. Our first shop was opened in 2015, and we have since moved to an impressive double fronted shop on Old Hall Rd in Sale Moor.
Our team’s foundation is built on strong technical expertise, which began with Mel’s rigorous training in computer programming at a Netherlands-based software company. This experience, combined with hands-on management of a busy retailer in central Manchester, equipped him with a deep understanding of both technical and customer service excellence.

Mel’s has been supporting the people of Trafford and South Manchester for more than fifteen years, and is active in the local community. We sponsor the local junior football team and provide ‘Tea & Tech’ presentations in local residential homes to help the community’s technical skills.
